Join us for Supper

The Exco members for 2012/2013 have started a new tradition - having Supper after meetings.

It's an undeniable fact - sometimes, we plan to come at 6.30 pm and enjoy dinner and fellowship before the meeting starts, but whether due to traffic or work, we end up coming at 7 pm or after. And the 10-minute break is not almost always insufficient to build the connections we are after.

Therefore, as a means to build camaraderie and yes, to enjoy more food after our meetings (you only live once!), the tradition of having supper after our Mid Valley Toastmaster meeting was born.

Our Vice-President of Education, Sheryl Chieng, initially suggested we meet at one of her favorite dining spots, at Reminisce (same side as Delicious, continue walking towards the direction of the Maybank branch).  The food is good, and reasonably priced, and the staff members are very familiar with Sheryl. It has become a favorite haunt of ours since that initial meeting - We even held our very first 2012/2013 Exco meeting at Reminisce!
